Nine Utica Community School Science Olympiad teams have been honored for taking top awards at regional and county competitions.
The Board of Education honored more than 100 participants for their achievements at the 31st annual Macomb County Elementary Science Olympiad Tournaments and Michigan Science Olympiad State Tournament.
The Stevenson High School team, in Division C, took home First Place at Regionals and Ninth Place at the State level.
